WITNESS ME!

What exactly would make it a safety issue to have a steering wheel that doesn’t go all the way around?

Why, exactly? Many high-end race cars use similarly styled wheels. This is the interior of the Porsche 919, which, last I knew, had been driven in anger for 24 hours straight. Sure it wasn’t the same driver the whole time, but the stints were a lot longer than 5 minutes.

and, for what it’s worth, the yoke almost certainly isn’t a viable steering wheel

clearly you don’t know what spartan means either.

I’ll pass that on to all the racing drivers who use yolk style wheels.
It might take a while.

I think you are confusing Spartan with clean design.

Spartan means few or no comforts. My fathers old ‘68 International Harverster was “spartan”

The Tesla will have AirCond,Heated seats, infotainment sat-nav, a host of controls and settings, auto pilot, cell connectivity, customizable ambient lighting....etc. hardly

Heaven forbid you are held accountable if you engineer a system that you know or should know is designed to break the law.

You missed a major category: Cars with built in USB ports.

Holy shit - this is just a straight forward informative post explaining the answer to an interesting question. Well done.

Are you not “allowed” to exceed the speed limit in your car? If my car made me do 55mph on Detroit freeways when everyone else is doing 70+ I’d be pissed.

So you’re saying the government should control your car? :)

Never. I stopped conditioning a couple months ago too. My hair is healthier than it’s ever been.

I don't use shampoo anymore, but I rinse it really well in the shower daily.

A convenient feature of that BMW shifter (which are also sourced from ZF) is that when you turn off the car it automatically goes to Park, mechanically, regardless of what mode it is in. At least that’s how it is on my X3. Adding this feature would solve the safety problem on the recalled Jeep/Chryslers.

Towing? This is why you guys should let FA die. If your “journalists” don’t know the extremely common and correct terminology why even write about it? You even use the correct term in the article. It’s like putting a burger on the grill and saying it’s stir-fried. That’s called a sling load by the way and is a long

You missed it.

“Their”? Hobby is just one of them.

It is believed that all 3 of the deceased were onboard the plane when it crashed.

Plane crashes on a parking lot full of vehicles in Houston Tx and doesn’t hit a truck! That’s the news here
