Talking about movie theaters is like talking about typewriters. It’s inevitable. The real concern we should all be worried is Internet throttling due to vertical integration. Imagine AT&T throttling movies streamed from Paramount. Or Compcast owners getting better exeriences viewing NBC/Universal shows and movies. Or…

I can’t wait! It’ll be only slightly more money, and I’ll happily pay that slight extra to avoid the crap experience the theatre and all the people sitting around me provide.

Movie theaters have had their decades in the sun. They haven’t pivoted or tried to do anything to marginally improve the service.
