My son (5) and I just got into Fortnite on the Xbox. We hand of the controller after each round, and the both of us are having a blast. So far, my son has done much, much better than me, cracking the top 10 numerous times, with his best being a #6 finish. As a dad, I couldn’t be prouder, as someone who has played

I love this game. Sure, the story overall is weak, but one mission in particular really hit me hard, and I frickin loved it.

This is how microtransactions should be, nothing game-breaking, but still enough to keep investors happy and players from starting a Battlefront 2 - type revolt.

During my time scouting Rae Rae’s Pumpkin farm, I got swarmed by two turkeys and a cougar, and so far 6 hours into the game, that was the most challenging battle. I still see them in my sleep. Absolutely terrifying.

The 1X runs the game great. I’ve had a few instances of a lot of stuff blowing up and bad dudes everywhere, not even the slightest slow down. Graphically it’s impressive. While I’m just exploring I let my 5 year old son watch me play, and he says “it’s like real life!” I may not go that far, but it’s a beautiful game.

For those freaking out about lack of political commentary within the game, here’s the thing....it’s a game. Ubisoft was very smart to play it safe, not worth the risk of alienating part of the market. I have read posts of those who do feel this game is an accurate reflection of rural red-state life, but for those who

If you’re doing the tourist thing, try to stay close to I-drive and Universal Blvd. Lots of restaurants and acceptable bars within walking distance, and only a mile or so away from Dave and Busters. If you want a less-touristy place to go, Church Street can be a good time.

When I played the video for my 5 year old son, he started losing his shit thinking it was a new Splatoon game, but when the smash logo came up, he really lost it. Not sure what makes me more proud, the fact he’s super excited for this game, or that he recognized the logo.

This. Farming monsters has become almost ridiculously easy, especially if I match the element of the IG to the specific monster. I’m currently able to down Anjanath and Legiana before they even run to a new location. That will change once I finally bite the bullet and go for Rathalos or Diablos, but dang the IG is

I’ve been set on the Insect Glaive since MH4U, and when I tried it in this game I nearly lost my shit. It’s perfect. Playing solo has been a breeze, finally taking my first faint again Odogaron.

Step it up with a homemade pico (tomatoes, onions, jalepenos and cilantro) and ranch dressing, mixed up and put on any sandwich, burger, anything. If you’re a ranch fan, and a pico/salsa fan, it’s the best. Just ignore the calorie count when your piling it on your sandwich.

The second code came as one of the “benefit confirmation” emails, and for me at least, it was nearly instant.

Personally, when I really get stumped on something (tax work) my legs move like crazy. Always been like that, and luckily my office has a door so other’s don’t get too annoyed. I’m curious how this thing will work for me. Placed an order, and coming from someone that is constantly moving, especially when sitting down,

I might be missing something, but I thought that OLED panels did not “show” blacks, they were pixels that were turned off. If that is accurate, and the navigation bar is black, how could it burn-in?

Tried the wireless charging with my Nexus 5, then again with my Nexus 6. The need to have it perfectly positioned, and how slow it was, turned me off from wireless charging. Not a selling point for anyone that has tried wireless charging in the past.

Sharing my favorite hobby with my 4-year-old son is not only a ton of fun, it really is a good method to distract the kid so things can get done. I am a single father that occasionally has work to do when my son isn’t in preschool, and video games have been a huge lifesaver. The best method for getting upwards of 30
