YES! I'm using 32 bit Chrome Alpha on 64 bit (with flash, yes, with flash... unfortuneately also in 32 bits...) Ubuntu Linux. It's already faster than... every other app I've ever seen. I'm excited. Really.

What about availability outside of the USA? That's a biggie for most people in the world right now...

Ahhh! The ZuneHD is really climbing up there in the competition between PMPs for me (currently it's 1. EGG, 2. ZuneHD, 3. iPodTouch (subject to change in September)

I was under the impression that Windows was Microsoft's flagship product...

Apparently when drying clothes that aren't especially soiled, half a dryer sheet is just as good as a full one.

@tournevis: Was just going to say that. I go to the high school nearby, Kingston Collegiate. Queen's is definitely in Kingston.

@panopticon: If you want themes, the Linux version has decent GTK integration, though it doesn't look anything like a native app or blend at all. But it still looks nice and uses the GNOME icons.

As a Canadian I'd love to use this. Unfortunately (fortunately?) I know *exactly* what my Member for Parliament is doing... sitting on "The Throne" and telling other MPs to shut up (Peter Miliken -LPC, Speaker of the Commons)

While I like the notification icon better, I don't mind it popping up. It's not that annoying. I get reminded of that every time I have to close a video game in Windows because XP is trying to automatically reboot! BAH!

MUHAHAHAHA!!!!

@Phoshi: You can use tonnes of programs on Linux. I run Photoshop CS2 and MS Word 2007 just fine with Crossover8. Then I have Firefox, Miro, Exaile, and tonnes of great software. I have never missed Windows (I don't game much, however).

@outerfringe: Funny... I get more new features per-release for free with Ubuntu. And a tabbed file browser...

It's curious that people would use Mumble since Notify-OSD, Jaunty's built-in indicator, does such a great job. Maybe for other Linuxes (although 9.04 is the only tested...)

@Downloader Guide: It's not exactly unlike Apple to make outrageous claims and expect people to take them at face value.

For some reason they backed away from QT4... this means it looks ugly in Linux again.

VOTE: EasyTag (Linux)

Note that someone can also use this to stalk someone...

Meh. Doesn't work for me.

Another reason I like Opera: Doesn't allow automatic sounds until I click on the thing making it.
