Yes, this has been studied and confirmed:

There are about thirty short stories and half a dozen novels exposing the holes that Asimov intentionally wrote into The Three Laws so that he could write stories around them. If you feel safe around a robot governed by the three laws, you are not very imaginative.

I admit the “robot” seems to lack sensors to detect certain-sized objects, but how freaking far away were the parents if it had time to knock the kid down AND run his foot over?
