If the length of the password is increasing their storage requirements, its being stored in plain text and not hashed. Any developer with a basic knowledge of security should cringe at the though.

An Arduino is a low power computer (its a "microcontroller" which is a single chip computer in a strict sense) that takes electrical inputs and gives outputs. Its a component that you use to easily add logic to an electronics project. Arduinos do not run a full "OS" as you would expect from a computer, they do low…
I got around this with another automation project by creating an ssh key for root@localhost. Then you just script 'ssh root@localhost <command>'. Its hardly elegant, but it works.
The general consensus is "when in doubt, never sudo". If you run random malfunctioning code as superuser, you're gonna have a bad time.
It has processing, memory, storage, input and output. You most certainly can call it a computer. And for that pricepoint I would go Adafruit Trinket. :)
Basically Unix, important distinction.
I have seen computers go from a 45 second boot time to a 7 second boot time just by booting from SSD instead of spinning HD. It should drastically decrease load times. Shouldnt help much with anything but loading, but oh man will those games load quickly.

This is almost exactly how I make mustache wax. I just end up using much less coconut oil and sometimes a little Vaseline depending on what season I will be wearing it in. Coconut oil and beeswax gets pretty brittle in New England winter.
In the Energizer 18000A section you mistakenly say XP1000 at the bottom and the XP180000A (I suspect that is an extra 0 on the last one, unless they came out with a 180 amp hour battery)
12v will work better, but the voltage isnt the important part. Your power supply should be able to supply a lot more amperes than a 9v battery. More current should speed up the reaction quite a bit.
This happened a lot in Vista, slightly less so in 7. When I run into this with 7 it is often because of a nonstandard corporate install media.
Correct me if I am wrong, but caffiene is a 3rd party app that people would have to download and install before you can use it to prevent your mac from sleeping.
Its a month on an average workstation running 1 process. The easiest way to accomplish a complex brute force is to rent server power from amazon and concurrently try multiple sections of possible password at once. Its not so much "how much time" someone is willing to put in, but if they are willing to pay 100$ to…
Removing the battery from a motherboard is probably a good idea anyways when the water hits. Sure, its lower current than the power supply provides, but it still has more than enough to burn out a component.
When I have machines get wet, I will often turn an oven onto the lowest setting, leave the door open a little, and put the bare motherboard on a CLEAN rack. It does not get hot enough to melt any solder, the plastic parts, or compromise any ICs. Just make sure you take the button cell battery out.
