It is kind of what they are saying, though. Body positivity does not mean ignoring the inherent health risks that come with being overweight, but about not allowing the world to beat you down because you don’t look aesthetically perfect. It also has nothing to do with Lizzo being a bitch. 

I think body positivity is less about delusion and more about kindness and acceptance - of yourself and others. Most overweight people carry enough self-loathing with them. Society piling on isn’t really helping anyone.
