Would you consider Terminator 2? Mad Max Fury Road. I liked the last Rocky movie and the first Creed. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but Bladerunner 2049 was very well-received. Toy Story 3 is good. Logan?

She’s the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!

Your takeaway is much like mine. I thought this was a muddled mess. Perhaps if Davis was itching for this story from the beginning, then it least we get an (albeit simplistic) moral tale: guy seeking to profit from a personal tragedy gets his comeuppance. But Davis wasn’t after this story at all. He only reluctantly

Eh, I think it normalizes violence too much myself.

Get out now . A few years ago this place was fantastic, nowadays they just cover whatever corporate tell them to with no complaints, and most contest is based on whatever gets most ‘ engagement ‘...what we’re doing right now , complaining about this runny turd of a show taking up space here...

TCM is great. Don’t fuck that up.

If the AV Club couldn't babble inanely about things, this whole site would cease to exist

We? Did you take a vote?

Yeah, i like Life Aquatic but at the time there were all these complaints that it didn’t “mean anything”. As if all movies had to have a moral or something.

I actually loved Darjeeling. That’s the thing with Anderson, everyone has their favorites.  My list below will look so much different than anyone else’s.

Yeah that’s why I said the price of the ticket is definitely not $8 more, but arguing about specifics isn’t super productive when we all agree it’s bullshit in general.

so you can anticipate a ticket fee. lol you’re going in a circle my man.

That’s definitely not true, the price of the ticket is not $8 more, the $8 is unnecessary middle man markup.

It must really shake you when they add sales tax at the register.

Rolling the hidden bullshit fees into the ticket price is a step backwards, not forwards. It’s the same ripoff with fewer clicks.

It was a stadium show. For Paramore. Even if anyone gave a shit about your punk credentials, they’re irrelevant. And let’s not get started on the fact that you’re cool with somebody stomping on your head because that’s just the way shit is, but you’re also accusing other people of “mob mentality.”

Oh-KAY punk-boi, we get it.  You have the most-est hardest-of-the-hardcore cred. None of us are worthy to rock in your pit. I’ll just slink off to the Neil Diamond tribute, if it’s ok with you.

As someone who’s been to a fair bit of concerts, there are very few people more obnoxious and annoying and deserving of getting kicked out than the pushy assholes who think they can just bowl people over to get a better spot than someone else that they think they deserve.

Been to plenty of shows and even in the pit.  People don’t just shove their way through the crowd when there’s no space to do so.  Take advantage of holes opening up? Sure.  Just push through, not a chance.

The whole “they’re just kids” tone you have excusing them pushing people is very much at odds with your “you’re at a rock show” mentality when it comes to their motivations for being dicks and having no concern for those around them.
