In initial reports it sounded like the camera setup (Baldwin firing the weapon directly at the camera itself) was unplanned, but wikipedia says they were moving the camera setup and he was demonstrating his actions; since they were moving the camera and not a couple feet away from the lens as they would be during the…
I’m not advocating piracy (especially wholesale and for-profit like Jetflicks), but there is an issue of big-business conglomerates using their outlets to strangle the market and siphon off a healthy profit before paying the artists. The consumer can feel powerless knowing the main legal way to watch a show they like…
I hope that building stays intact; it’s so incongruous with its surroundings and calls back to an earlier time.
I’m too weary to look it up but I’m 100% sure y’all have made “M-three-gan” jokes on this site.
I’m doing my part and making the Electric Boogaloo joke so someone else doesn’t have to. 🫡

watching this teaser I was thinking: does Clancy Brown know the moment he shows up onscreen a decent chunk of the audience will go “aw hell yeah”?
I’m absolutely with you on this one; during deep quarantine I watched every Brooks movie in order. I really love Nope, and it holds up so well on a rewatch; it’s more Jurassic Park style blockbuster than a horror movie imo. I think Us and Nope have more going on under the surface and I find myself thinking on meaning and themes, whereas Get Out lays it all out there pretty clearly, for better or worse.
naw, Us and Nope straight-up rip; it’s just that Get Out was such a tightly written story where the themes were in lock-step with the plotting. The scale he’s able to go with in those next two films (kinda a small output to be characterizing as “spotty”) would crumble under a less sure hand.
Even with Furiosa running on empty at the box office week after week????
even then, it was just voting rights; and we’ve managed to make those rights a joke in the meantime.

based on some of the very specific types of grey responses i’ve seen recently i think he’s already trying.
if the Golden Girls aired today you’d call it identity-obsessed woke trash. rue mclanahan would mention her sexual agency and you’d start bleeding from your eyes
is this an episode of I Love Film?
I liked beardo Stipe but to each their own
