lol and what does that look like?

I think the exit clause is the especially troubling aspect of the show; you can really tell people are trying to see a terrible decision through while everything is on fire around them. Some googling’s telling me the 4th and 5th seasons were filmed after a production change, which does make sense: season 4 had a lot

This is all very relatable. When I told everyone I was ending my podcast they also said “you had a podcast?”

He said with no self-awareness times infinity plus one!

Reframe and goalpost-shift all you want, but in this discussion you’ve positioned yourself squarely in the “review good, actually” corner.

Dude, “the writing on this site is good, actually” is never going to be a defensible take.It may be conveying the ineffability of the art to you, but I and other readers found it lacking; you can’t debate people into having a different experience with “art.”

yeah that’s real pretty but this review is not that.

Considering we’re in a thread whose central question is “What did the reviewer like about the movie?”, would it surprise you if I said no?

That’s pretty flicked up dawg they aren’t even that big

It’s almost as though the job of criticism is bridging the gulf between art’s inherent ineffability and the reader.

Explaining why a movie is or isn’t worth watching without the reader having seen the movie is kinda the whole point of a review.

Darker than ripping someone’s consciousness out of the time-space continuum just to spend one day with them after which they and their memory will die forever, just to appease the programming of a single robot boy??

Ah yes, the year [citation missing], when independent films were making hundreds of millions of dollars, and high-budget spectacle headed by marquee stars couldn’t make its budget back.

Exactly; this is someone who has been putting his money where his mouth is for decades.

Absolutely on point: my favorite part of going to see a Scorcese movie is lining up with hundreds of other Scor-heads dressed up as our favorite characters, watching a marathon of all the previous movies right before the new one, then going out to McDonalds and buying a complete set of collectible cups.

I don’t know if a relationship’s longevity is any sign of its quality; a terrible partner can be as hard to leave as a perfect one, sometimes even moreso.

Euphoria star Zendaya also shared some thoughts on Cloud, whose character shared an intense bond with his.

Heck, the more I think about it, the sillier this “consumer cycle” stuff sounds; it’s not like you can currently point to “smaller, weirder” movies in cinemas now and say they’re clearly making a financial upswing at the box office, or even are increasing dominance as the type of movies people are making. They’re not

He does shoot the silly-voice boys on film though, and made a freakin’ Borges/Escher movie between Batsmen.
