Oh you've gone and moved it to newswire. Now I look stupid.

So the Internet is responsible for this? Strange. I thought it was a group of artists in meatspace.

Personally I enjoyed the episode for what it is. Sure it could go off the rails quickly but that won't lessen my enjoyment of the pilot.

Great show! I know some people have a visceral phobia of musicals but I'd echo Allison in urging people to give this a try any way. I also feel like with so many shows I've loved I have to keep apologising for the title lol. Please don't let that put you off!

Does anyone honestly think Hook is Emma's True Love? I'm asking honestly here. They had some chemistry back when Hook had a personality and more story focus but in the last season he did little more than follow Emma round like a puppy dog with Emma mostly ignoring him (except for the occasional Special Scene to remind

Sure. But that doesn't mean this Clara couldn't end up in a similar situation? At this point it'll take something like that to get her to leave the Doctor.

Only me then :p

Yeah, the only trouble with my spin off idea is that I'm afraid Clara would have trouble surviving an episode, let alone a series!

I read that Capaldi didn't want to take off his wedding ring so they made him a ring that fits over the top.

Also, is it just me or does anyone else see major Soufflé time in Clara's future?

I never knew I wanted a Missy & Clara spin off but now I really do.

Black guy dies in first episode. Woman in sexy dress (briefly) tortured. My TV Tropes bingo card is shaping up nicely.

You are psychic.

Thanks for policing the comments. I'm incredibly spoiler averse and although I don't expect other people to pander to me I really do appreciate it when people try to keep knowing winks, hints, and outright spoilers to a minimum.

Maybe I'm wrong but I got the impression he didn't actually do much. I think he just asked his sister and she sorted everything out, all he needed to do was take the drugs from electrical to his car and drive to where he was told.

This was an up tick in quality but I think one of the problems I'm having with these early episodes is that I've forgotten more about that characters than I remember. I think it's the trouble with binge watching a show than waiting a year until the next season.

Barrowman: "…And no offense none of you are particularly good actors"
Ramsey: "I'm out" *storms out*

Me too. I'm just bitter about the way the show forgets she exists sometimes even when she's standing right there.

That's empty nest syndrome for you. Now that her only child has left she's looking to fill the void.

Well I wouldn't put it past Oliver to invent time travel purely so he could include spoilers in this review…
