Congratulations on buying your first house.

I learned in January that I was over paying child support and the state was holding the excess cash. It’ll be a $3,000 annual savings that I can put towards a 529 plan & youth savings account for my son.

Stay classy Disney.

Plus, I don’t remember Perot being overtly racist or xenophobic like Trump.

Good to Ball staying in shape during the off season.

Is anyone else sing the Jaws theme in their head? How about channeling Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October?

W/o saying a word, Ilitch’s mind controlling device endorses Trump’s wig.

Sweet! I missed saving during my 20s. Early 30s ate up my savings with a costly divorce and layoffs. Now I’m doing my own “fix my shit” crusade at 35. You’re inspiring Mike, because I’m at the $50k/yr mark.

Solid advice Ryan. That savings account would be 2 - 3 months of expenses for me.

More the latter than the former in my opinion. We are a consumer economy in the USA. Having a high credit score is very desirable. Building credit means managing debt well. But not many people exercise the discipline to manage their money.

I have a high yield savings account that limits my withdrawals from the account to once a month. So my temptation to use that savings account for non-emergencies is very low to non-existent.

I can barely handle a $1000 emergency if needed and still meet my bills for a month. I currently pay $75 per month to Aflac for accident insurance in case I am injured and out of work on a short term (less than 2-3 months) basis.

35% savings is a very nice amount. That’s inspiring Sue, I’m currently at 12% savings.

Powerful. Thank you for sharing.

Can we please get a different election system? A system that values all voters equally instead of voters in one particular state or geographical setting over the other.

+1 scared nephew. Excellent work.
