Heh, our classes were out at 1:45. We had 4 80 minute classes each day with 7 minutes between bells and a 30 minute lunch. Skip out on the last class and I’m out at 12:25.
I was born in late 83, but was put into school early.
I always made it a point to skip school on opening day and Patriots Day (for 11AM Red Sox games)
Sullivan and his kids... *groan*
One of my very good friends is also an Everton supporter. I am sorry you are burdened with Roberto Martinez for at least another 10 days.
This is a damn good point. I may have gotten through it the first time that way too. I probably dislike the 2-X levels in the dark. Those can be so brutal.
I was a freshman in high school who didn’t really give a damn. Easy to walk off our campus and the less than half mile home. We had a cable package that included WGN.
Easy enough!
Well, part of the problem was having $14 tickets in 2012 and coming back in 2014 to $20 and $25 tickets. No price breaks for kids, nothing like that. They certainly didn’t try very hard to get us into the building the last two years.
COO Brad Church was on the Morning Jab yesterday and Shoe asked him point blank “What…
So good. I remember watching this live as well. I was 14 and loved to skip classes to watch afternoon baseball whenever I could. I still have strong memories of this one.
Baseball Reference has the time of game at 2:19. Bloody efficient.
Oh absolutely. Unfortunately, I live with a Liverpool fan and she found a Giphy catalog of nothing but Klopp .gifs.
I get one every half-hour. I’m looking to divorce.
Man, I’m sorry for your loss. Another commenter mentioned AHL franchises looking at Portland, but I’m hearing it’s more of the ECHL variety.
We also had the Q in Lewiston for a few years, but apparently that league has a disdain for Atlantic maritime teams and teams in the US. For example, the league forced the…
Billard is like Lawrenson’s predictions. So very bad.
Ooh. Burn. Spoken like a true United supporter.
The most wonderful man in all of football. He defines the joy that the sport is supposed to be about. I’d trade him for just about any other manager in the world except my own.
He makes it very, very difficult to continue disliking Liverpool.
The Ice Caves are Spelunky Man’s greatest foe.
Man, as crappy as the Colisée is, I miss the Maineiacs.
Sure, they don’t have to give a damn about us. However, when a LOCAL businessman takes over the team and makes hollow promises over and over again about building the team and staying here for the long run and then sells the team at the first hint of profit, I’m going to be pissed. I don’t give a damn about the flaw in…
From everything I’ve read (and haven’t done the math), it certainly seems like it.
Man, as someone who had season tickets for a couple years and regularly went to 10 games a year and just had something ripped away from him that he had since he was 10 years old, please don’t tell me how to react.
Goddammit. I’ve posted about this on DUAN and Above the Redline over the past two days and I’m still furious about it.
Sure, we had the Maine Mariners from 77-92, but I was 10 when the Pirates came to town. That’s where my indoctrination to hockey really began with live games. Seeing Barry Trotz lead the team to the…
