Another game… The Residents: Freak Show (1994). And Dazzeloids (1994) by Rodney Alan Greenblat (later to gain fame as the creator of PaRappa the Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy). I corresponded with Greenblat about five years ago when the iPad came out to offer to port Dazzeloids to iOS. He decided against it. Too bad.

But you want to talk about a GREAT game from that period that did everything right where Myst went wrong?

This might be one of those series where it's worth watching about one-third of the final episode and calling it good.
