Totally agree. People who direct projects like this don’t seem to understand that “feel” trumps “looks” any day. The out-dated anime series was far superior due to the dark tone of the sound track as well as the time spent with building up our relationships with the characters.

i agree. Berserk animation will only work without the CGI. CGI is too clean for this awesome masterpiece.

CGI seems like the wrong medium to use for Berserk. It’s too clean. The world of Berserk was well-defined but had a more rough-hewn quality to it. Animation in the style of Attack on Titan or One-Punch Man would suit this much better.
