There is an underlying assumption here that somehow some jurors are unbiased and some are biased. The science says that there is essentially no such thing as an unbiased juror.

Because boys. You know, boys will be boys. These fine, upstanding, football-player boys were just being boys. No need to ruin their lives just because some dumb slut got drunk and asked to be gang-raped. These poor boys have already been through enough trauma. They’ve learned their lesson. Next time they gang-rape an…
I guess that French people would taste better because of what they eat? Macarons and croissants and real butter. Yum.
What’s funny is the reverse is simply NOT true. Prosecutors pretty much never get a new trial after an acquittal. Even when there was obvious jury misconduct.
I read this as:

But the real question is, Why would any of the kids reading that pamphlet throw thousands of dollars away to go to college when they believe…
I feel like “libertarian-leaning fundamentalists” is an oxymoron. They should just call it the gathering of confused nut jobs.*
“Last week, while reporting a longer story, I had the distinct pleasure of joining hundreds of libertarian-leaning fundamentalists at the Great Homeschool Convention outside LA”
i also like how this (im guessing) really pro military organization admits the army brainwashes recruits
The logical fallacies and poor writing had me baffled, until I re-read the beginning and saw “Great Homeschool Convention.”
im totally sure they got the consent of mike judge to use mr van driessen
