It’s cool, they apologized!

After this shite week, this will be me tomorrow:

Here's a fucking gun coupon printed over the charleston hate crime headline. I hate this planet sometimes.

Christian Martyr Syndrome is an epidemic in this country

That is bang fucking on. I went to FOX News less than an hour ago and read their front page story about this. Not a single mention of what he said or his racist past. Not one mention. Fuck them.

And yet, I bet if the races were reversed and a black man shot up a white church, they would be the FIRST ONES crying “SEE? BLACK PEOPLE HATE WHITE PEOPLE THEY’RE DANGEROUS OMG.”

The fact that people hear “shooting” + “AME church” and don’t immediately think of this country’s rich history of white supremacist violence against black people is a ginormous failure of American education. This is part of ongoing tradition of race-based domestic settler-colonialist practices that amount to fucking

Correction: An earlier version of this post incorrectly identified Fox and Friends’ resident blonde lady as Gretchen Carlson. That was the other one. This one is Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Oops.

Here in SC, local media is reporting a lot of shock about this happening in a church, including statements from other AME church leaders, specifically referring to being in church, not just being black in church. And yes, I believe the president was speaking of churches in general, not just black churches.

I don’t know

Fox News anchors are agents of white supremacy. What else is new?

Because by admitting that racism is still a thing, they’d have to acknowledge that something should be done about it. Fox’s viewers want to feel secure that black people are, in general, worse off than whites because they are lazy. Not because whites have systematically oppressed them.

It scares me that the “persecuted” Christians in this article believe that athiests are mad enough about them to do this. I assume that is the group that would “attack faith.” And these people saw that 9 people had been murdered and thought “Yup. That’s probably athiests.”

To be clear this, not only was this a White guy shooting up a historically abolishonist church, but he also managed to do this on the anniversary of Juneteenth. Way to keep the scope narrow. Mad props to colorblindness and willful ignorance.

Personally, I don’t hate Christians or any other religious types. Hatred is taught. My parents skipped that fucking lesson. I don’t think any non-religious types truly hate religious folks.

I’m listening to talk radio out of Austin (so it’s not necessarily right wing dittoheads) and someone called and asked the host how he knew the shooting was about race, not Christianity. The host replied with the shooter’s quote, and the caller said “well I didn’t know that. That changes things.” I’d wager a ton of

Why are the Faux News folk and others of their ilk so terrified of admitting that racism is a thing. What does it cost them to go “Damn, that little evil dude that killed 9 black people is racist af.”? Admitting that this twisted little prick is racist isn’t the same thing as admitting that they are racist. (Even

Wow. White, conservative, Christian Republicans sure as hell are desperate to get labeled as persecuted minorities aren’t they? These are of course the same people who think that actual persecuted minorities should shut the fuck up, because it really isn’t as bad as they say it is. Yet they jump at every chance they

Obviously this is about religion. Look at all those cops pulling over people with Jesus fish on their cars, incarcerating a staggering amount of Christians vs. Non-Christians, and breaking up Baptisms with tear gas!

As a Christian, I have this to say: FUCK YOU, FOX NEWS. This wasn’t about religion — this was about racial hatred.

Gross. These people are gross.
