Norway has us beat. Their Prime Minister went out as a taxi driver.

Only Baltimore. But yes, I know how bad it is. Which is all the more reason a member of Congress should get no extra perks. All over the nation, transportation is a problem for people, whether it’s poor public transportation or traffic jams or parking problems. They’re not aristocrats, they’re public servants. They

Right off the bat, my number one question is why do members of Congress get special parking privileges in the city?

<sigh> It’s the receipt for docking fees at a yacht club. A “berth certificate.”

+1000000 for online sales and honoring prices. This is a no-brainer.

I suppose there is that and while it was fitting for the Jack style of story telling. It wasn’t that great in terms of actually ending because who knows how many years he was out there. Let alone if that future will still hold.

I’ll say, technically, we do know the ending. When Jack tries to use a time portal on top of the mountain, and fails to defeat the guardian, the guardian looks into the portal, says “Not yet, samurai. Not yet.”, and sees an older Jack who is meant to be Jack when he’s strong enough to win.

Lulu......Sweet Thing......

Bittersweet is so the right word. I want more Samurai Jack, and have for years, but only Mako can be Aku. Dammit.

Always worth remembering Genndy is a national treasure

Wow, unexpected. It was easily one of my favorite shows of all time, amazing art. I am excited and nervous, if its the same people working on it I guess it will be fine. A shame Mako isn’t here.

The Anubis archers episode was my favorite. The artwork was especially amazing and added to how almost no sound occurred through the whole thing.

I think the sound design for Samurai Jack (sound effects and music etc) was without equal. It was amazing as much for what you heard as the silence allowed to develop in certain spaces. Phenomenal in what it brought to the overall atmosphere along with the abstract backgrounds and excellent animation.

I’ve always been a fan of the show’s art style making no use of outlines. Forced the creators to always create environments that made Jack clearly visible, and from that you get some of the most coherent and creative action scenes visually.

“Looking over the list of Samurai Jack’s original four seasons it’s extraordinarily difficult to choose an episode that stands out as the absolute best”

This is a nicely done write-up! It got me thinking about something... Are reboots like this actually aimed at fans of the original or are they trying to capture new audiences like the original? I thought this show looked cool when I was younger but I was just a little outside the target demo and it never got its hooks

My favorite episode:
