Often I, too, will be drawn in by a headline, read the article, and understand the intention of the writer in context.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the draft. We’ve had eleventy dozen wars since Vietnam and not once even motioned toward using it. Moreover, if the military recognizes trans women as the women they are, then it’s academic: the draft does not include women.
