Well I’m a grown ass man with a failed collegiate athletic career and a failed marriage so if I had a fear of failure I’d be locked in my house with the shades drawn at this point, but thats no way to live life so I keep plugging away.

I like to think that a healthy fear of failure is a positive thing, but thats a very difficult thing to nurture, it’s a very fine line.

I’m afraid of failure enough so that I want to succeed at everything I do and I’m willing to really push myself to succeed, but that said, I’ve failed so many times. I was lucky…

Losing in sport and that sting that goes along with it is a great thing. Some kids are wusses and raised by their parents to cut and run when things get tough.

Every time I lost at a sport as a kid and i wanted to quit, my dad wouldn’t let me. he always signed me up again the next year and a game or two into the season…
