Weird, I’ve always associated the term “poppers” with cheese stuffed jalapenos.  Well, that and drugs.  I’ve never heard breaded cheese sticks/bites called poppers before.

Not a good one.

As a Gen Xer from a super sexist household, these books appealed to me for all the wrong reasons. When my sister and I were “well-behaved” and did what our parents wanted, we didn’t really get any other attention. Our submissiveness was our value.

I love Milan and Cole both as humans and as authors. Thank you for unwinding all this madness, I was having a hard time following everything on Twitter.

We had the same conversation about consent with our son that we had with with our daughter. They learned early that they don’t have to give grandma a hug (mom, dad, anyone) if they don’t want to and that no one is entitled to anything to do with their bodies.

Right? My parents made damn sure my sister and I were sequestered from boys to the point I got grounded when one called me, thinking I was another girl in my class.
