You lose all credibility when you start calling a woman ugly.

A very generous review IMO. There is WAY too much Elizabeth Moss face time: June looking at the camera, June lanquid-walking. Closeup of June looking askance. Closeup of June looking at the camera again. MORE June looking at the camera, interrupted by a closeup of someone else and then someone else, and then back to so

C’mon, that’d be ridiculous.

As the show goes on, it gets harder and harder to root for June (though Moss is still excellent). Commander Lawrence nailed it last week: June is a homewrecker that fell into an ideal relationship and now expects that she can just fall out of Gilead and behave however she wants and get the same ending.

“What’s it like for her to be in that home that’s no longer hers?” I don’t get it — when did Emily live there? They live in Canada now!

First, they need to hire an editor.

Sure, but refusing to work because you think you deserve more money than offered is perfectly reasonable. She’s in no way obligated to do a guest spot for whatever they offer her.

The point is going completely over your head. If Ty Burrell had a cameo in a Modern Family spinoff, would he get “standard guest star” pay? Hell no. If Keifer Sutherland guested on a 24 spinoff, would he get “standard guest star” pay? Fuck no. I would bet the farm they’d get a huge payday and nobody would bat an eye.

If they were actually adding her to the main cast, then this argument might have a leg to stand on, but seeing as how they were bringing her on as a guest star and were offering her the standard guest star fee, I’m not sure I buy her supposedly more honorable motives.

I think he might have been able to talk her down, and that’s why he had to die. As hard as it was to sell it as it was written, it would have been even harder for me to buy if she hadn’t lost her two closest advisors.

Replace Constance Wu with her in Fresh Off the Boat and everyone’s problems will be solved.

Bran’s going to create his own spin-off where Drogon pretends his mother is still alive so he can throw a kick-ass party at Dragonstone.

The most likely scenario is that Young Griff takes King’s Landing before Dany gets to Westeros.

Yeah it feels like there was a ton of key characters left out of the show from books 4 & 5. Young Griff is a big one. Mance Rayder is still alive in Winterfell. The faceless men are up to something in Westeros. The list goes on.

This. (kind of?)  Thought it the moment Tyrion said that.

The whole matter is ridiculous since everyone knows dragon breath can’t melt steel knives, and this is clearly an inside job.

Politely disagree, Drogon sustained that fire long enough for the swords to melt into molten rivulet. You could tell that the show runners wanted usto see the powerful imagery, like in the suggested first take. That said, I like the dumb dragon take because nothing matters at this point so let’s laugh.

On the Drogon-is-smart-side, someone elsewhere posted a bit of head canon that Drogon picked up Dany and took her to Quaithe, who sure seems like she was looking out for Dany (in the books even more so than the show) and who might be a red priestess who could resurrect Dany.

I wondered why Yara didn’t speak up at the time, considering that the Iron Islanders pick their kings / queens through a vote. But there she was, laughing at Sam with the rest of them. I guess she wanted to fit in.

In the end, Bran let Dany go on her rampage because he knew she would make his kingdom more ADA compliant.
