Big was inaccessible to her and in real life the inaccessible guy you try and hold onto never changes for you. He might change for the next girl, but he never goes from being noncommittal and out of reach to suddenly wanting to get married. If the show was supposed to be about female empowerment, Carried was supposed

I’ve been listening to these conversations most of the day:

I appreciate this.

Okay right? Like, why are you just STANDING by that blockade?

YES. Prepare to be infuriated and saddened.

Especially with three people connected in some way to the sheriff’s department on the jury. Plus, the dismissed juror (I know, bear with me) thinks there was something fishy about the car accident his daughter was in that caused him to forfeit being a juror in the first place. So of the 12 jurors, we have the

Thanks for sharing! :) I’d give this a try with rice if I didn’t always use a rice cooker.

It doesn't fit with the narrative. BLM is defined by outspoken morons literally incapable of making a single coherent point.

Was thinking the same thing. Yes the cops acted wildly inappropriately by shooting him 9 seconds after arriving, instead of assessing and de-escalating. They shouldn't be cops, and possibly should be charged. But to say they rolled up on Rice just relaxing is bullshit. The kid had a object indistinguishable from a

The people that think that the police can safely assume 12 year olds aren’t carrying real guns aren’t paying attention to what is going on in the world. I know it doesn’t get the headlines that these police shootings do and often aren’t as publicized because they involve juveniles, but 12-14 year olds are shooting

You talk as if police have the clarity of hindsight when they act. In the real world they don't. Sorry.

Wait, are you insinuating that there is a certain threshold/ level that James isn’t living up to by just sending 1000 local kids to school on his dime?

What’s the difference between a “grown ass man” with a gun and a kid with a gun? They’ll both kill you. lol I’m not fully blaming the kid, and I didn’t say anything that you put in quotes there but that’s cute. You sure like creating false narratives huh? Creative writing is fun, another thing we agree on. What I DID

So he’s expected to help people because he’s rich, and we’re not supposed to like him for it because he’s rich? 1000 kids going to college when they could not otherwise is great, I don’t care how much money someone has, it’s still great that they’d choose to spend it this way and not every action needs to be

Shawn King repurposing a protest movement for his own personal ends?

but mizzou players sitting out would directly affect the people you want change from, the university. Unless Dan Gilbert sits on the grand jury, you would be affecting no one that can change this.

No no no, the police obviously pulled up, saw Tamir “relaxing” and started blasting.... The narrative provided by this writer is absurd and false.

Also ridiculous is the notion that I’ve seen (in multiple memes) that a Facebook post or even many Facebook posts make any effing difference in this case. And that people posting about the Motörhead lead singer or anything else without posting about this case are somehow shirking social responsibility.

I love how you leave out major points of the story. The cops thought it was a real gun because people called the police and said a boy is playing with a gun and threatening people. The story is tragic enough, you dont need to leave out information for sympathy. Most people know the cops did not act appropriately.

It’s just never enough for some people.
