The same goes for the other side too though. Most people who post about how no other tragedies have people use flags and hashtags are the same people who make a big issue about the opposite of it. I was shocked when i saw several popular black american Twitter accounts who wrote nonsense like “When white people die

I’m a black muslim woman from France (family fled Côte d’Ivoire when there was civil war) and what annoys me much more as a moderate Muslim Woman is not only far-right people who blame our whole religion, it’s also all the people who keep saying Islam has absolutely nothing to do with it, when it does. The problem is

I’m a black muslim woman from France (family fled Côte d’Ivoire when there was civil war) and i have to disagree with this sentiment from so many anglo countries pretending the West only cares about it’s countries. The recent Turkey Attack was all over the news in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and

You obviously misunderstood me. I agreed that Zoe looks nothing like the person she portrays and that there could be better choices. I criticized the americentric attitude i continuesly see and experience. We have different definitions and experiences and none of them are wrong. That’s my whole point. You can’t

I wasn’t attacking the Black Americans view of what or who is black. Keep in mind, most of us over here don’t live in a society that is as race-focused as the US. Here in France, i always feel safe with the Police around and when i get stopped i never felt i was stopped because of my skincolour. In the US this is

I’m black from Côte d’Ivoire. Living in France now after my family fled the civil war in my home country. What bothers me and most black folk i know and grew up with is that Black Americans often seem to be not aware of the fact that their view of “what and who is black/blackness” is completly americentric. Same goes

What annoys me the most about this is that people expect a jury in a country that is not even remotely as diverse as the US to be diverse. Most minorities in Germany are white like Italians, many of the turkish people (Yes they’re considered white over here), and the polish minorities = also white.

Oh don’t worry, i wasn’t talking about majorities. And my experiences aren’t from any white americans, as i’ve written, i experienced it with black americans, whether online or everytime i was in the US (Also studied in the US for 2 years, which made me learn english much better). Your response illustrates the

Black french woman here from Côte d’Ivoire but having grown up in France.

As a black french woman, I can completly understand their point. What a lot of Americans don’t seem to get is that just because a movie is made by Americans, it doesn’t have to represent American Society unless it actually plays in American Society + a time and place where diverse cast would make sense.

I never claimed that they are refugees. I said that they’re from cultures that are pre-dominantly muslim where respect for women sadly isn’t as popular.

I’m a muslim french woman with family that also lives in Germany and let me tell you something, your post is utterly disgusting and such views are the reason the right and far right gets so popular in Europe right now! We “Progressives” can’t ignore facts. Its disgusting to see people here care more about how the

That’s not true. I’m a french muslim woman and also have family in Germany and speak german. The right-wing in Germany does not blame every migrant nor refugee.

I’m a black french muslim woman living in France and I don’t think it’s a good idea until the sister cuts off her contacts to the hardline islamist groups she is engaging with (Jamaat-e-Islami).

How can you defend this? I don’t like Don Lemon myself, but this is a innocent woman working for him. And just like everyone on Twitter with a lot of followers, Shaun King has alot of a**holes following him, who right now will probably be harassing this woman.

How can you support what he did? The female worker for Don Lemon doesn’t deserve the harassment she now will receive from Shaun Kings followers and let’s be honest, everyone has crazy followers who basically will think now “Omg poor Shaun King, i hate Don Lemon, let’s spam and send insults and death threats to

Shaun King posted the phone number and e-mail adress of the innocent woman working for CNN.

Maybe you have that experience in the USA. You see, what so many people on here do (especially if they’re from the USA) is automatically using their country as a “norm” for the western world. I have never experienced it nor did women i know who work in scientific fields (France, Belgium and Switzerland). So i could

You gotta do excercises for your muscle down there, don’t know the english name, which will help a bit.
