You could say the EV owner is already contributing to society in many other ways. A reduced pollution footprint which leads to less respiratory issues and less of a need for public health funding. I’m sure other readers can add other money saving points relative to taxation.

What happened to all those ‘good guys with guns’? The cops just stood outside for over a half hour while it happened and simply prevented parents from trying to get their kids. The security guard was very quickly overpowered. All those good guys with guns did jack squat.

There was a school resource officer (IE, a cop), and two regular police officers shooting at the guy before he got in the school. Three “good guys with guns” couldn’t stop one “bad guy with a gun”.

Apparently the police were pursuing the gunman as he went into the school. The kid was being chased into the school by the police and he still managed to kill so many innocent people. Anyone who argues that more guns and “enforcing laws” are the solution can go fuck themselves.

100% believable that these awful people would have a template ready, so they don’t have to type out the whole thing every time this happens...

I’ve brought up the cancellation of this show at least once a week since it’s been cancelled. Netflix dropped the ball spending $30 million on each ep of Stranger Things 4 and canceling this. Utterly ridiculous because they were the same style show! Less Goonies and less classic songs, but it was a period piece cosmic…
