@gnomeholes: What information do you want on the lock screen? I use Wallpaper Labeler (from the App Store) to add my basic "Please return to" info to any picture and then I set the picture as my lock screen. If you want a screen full of info (such as emergency medical info or your latest iambic pentameter), you can…
@Graham15: That may be a problem with your specific iPod. Most of my family uses iPTs and we have not encountered this problem. (Trust me, I would know because they think I can solve all of their tech problems.)
Happy Friday to all!
@pinecone99: The company where I work uses SharePoint also, although I am by no means a power user. At a high level, we use it to share up-to-date, controlled documents like our ISO responses and procedures, to conduct surveys, to collaborate on projects or reports. One of my goals this year is to explore ways to…
@ihityouinthenose: Oh, I loved the bulgogi when I visited South Korea several years ago! I haven't had anything close in the States, though.
@RenRen: Yes, I received a flu vaccine this year. Flu vaccines have less mercury than the average gallon of tap water.
@e-gadgetjunkie: According to my on-call nurses (mom and sister), one must have had a full-term preganancy before using most IUDs, but many women use and like them. You may also want to check [www.Rxlist.com] for specific brand names along with potential side effects.

@Hasteur: I haven't played RISK since childhood when I got very frustrated with the game and decided I was not old enough to play it. The whole "attack another player's country" thing puts a lot of stress on my preferred "flight" response to conflict! :) (I still don't think I'm old enough to play Risk... or Uno for…
Happy Friday to all!
My iPod Touch (particularly for Sleep Cycle), cell phone, battery-powered travel alarm clock (because I'm paranoid enough to set two alarms), remote for the stereo across the bedroom. I dislike the distraction of television or computer in the bedroom. There are much more important things to do in bed.
@TunaFish: When my friends are in love, infatuated, or twitterpated, I am usually the first to notice. Here are the signs I watch for:
@PrairieMoon: Essentially, I promote or approve a comment when I think it adds something beneficial (humor, advice, a different perspective, etc) to the thread. The only ones I don't approve are offensive, unoriginal, or extremely poorly written. (And, yes, I am aware that I used two adverbs to modify "written.")

@_roddy_: I recommend the ShopShop app for shopping lists and the UYH (Use Your Handwriting) app for any other type of checklist. Both let you create multiple lists and check things off without removing them from the list. ShopShop also remembers items you have listed in the past so you only have to start typing the…
@Haneyg: I suggest trying something new where you are. It may be something that you never thought you'd like or something that you have a passing interest in, but choose something and then go out and try it.
@Mr.CardHolder and Mr.Doe: You are correct. U.S. Cellular has very good coverage in other regions as well (at least where my friends and I have traveled along the east coast from Georgia to Maine).
