@XNRZ: I recommend Simplenote, too. I have the free version and love it! It allows tagging and searching notes, but I don't think it has the option to save photos as notes (like Evernote).

Happy Friday to all!
@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: I would remove it from the bread machine as soon as it is done and set it on a wire rack to cool without sogging. Next, I would brush melted butter onto all the surfaces, rotating the loaf as I went. It might be a little messy, but the butter usually soaks in quickly so there…
@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: For softer crust, brush melted butter over the top as soon as you remove the loaf from the oven. For harder crust, brush water over the top every 10-15 minutes while baking.
@mkr10001: Dictionary.com lists them as alternate spellings, so I use the one that is most common where I live (midwestern U.S.). I'm curious, what region or country are you from?
@Maave: I credit Firefly. Who doesn't love a good reference? :)
@Stupid Flanders: Good idea! Using an obsure word or phrase in another language is also a good way to get the same username on most websites. "Chispea" means "she sparkles" in Spanish (a reference to stars not vampires, I was using this name long before Stephanie Meyer was popular!).
My landlord keeps a wall-mounted fire extinguisher in the kitchen of every apartment. Does everyone have one in their home or is that unusual?
@Michael Bates: You get a virtual cookie for being the only person to comment on the Firefly reference!
@jeremiah89: Thanks, the podcast was quite informative!
I prefer to twist the bag closed, fasten with a clothespin, and stop buying plastic water bottles.
I do this with my "miscellaneous cooking tool drawer." I keep tongs, measuring cups/spoons, funnels, cookie cutters, ect. all in the same drawer with no dividers at all. I use them about every 2-3 days but have no problem finding what I need. I do have a silverware organizer though; a drawer like the one pictured…
@TheFu: Part of my challenge is that I log into sites from a number of different computers and networks. I am not allowed to install or run any "unauthorized applications" on work computers, so that eliminates quite a few options. Any suggestions for this particular situation?
@Costermonger: I don't know, I've actually never had that happen.
@Unionhawk: They tend to function best with structure and boundaries. Children with ADD or ADHD often need their time structured in a way that requires them to switch from sitting and working/listening to running or some other physical activity. In elementary school, my brother would spend 10-15 minutes on an…
@Wes: Bon voyage!
Call me paranoid, but I like to protect and remember my passwords without an outside system. I keep track of my password variations by keeping my own log of websites/systems and clues to which password I used.
@Mario Giambanco: Not knowing your personal style, I suggest browsing a few house tours at [www.apartmenttherapy.com.]
@Tony Bullard Jr: I like Noteworthy Composer for scoring music. I use the keyboard shortcuts for speedy entry. It will let you play with tempo, dynamics, instruments, etc. after entering the notes. I also like the ability to copy and paste whole sections.
Happy Friday to all!
