@delicatedisarray: Good idea! That would be good for traveling, too. Mine is perfect for a dresser drawer, but a little big for an overnight bag.

Since I have a mix of post and french hook earrings, I store them in an embroidery floss organizer (a box about 2 inches tall 8x12 inches at the base, divided into 2 inch square compartments). With one or two pairs of earrings per compartment, they are easy to find and put away.
@Magnakai Haaskivi: I suggest 1-2 teaspoons of salt per cup of warm water, but it can be made as strong as you like. Warm tap water works best for me because I do not want to burn my throat with overheated water.
@rdrake1: I use a Neti-Pot, too, and gargled with salt water during all of last flu season. I also take 1000 mg of vitamin C per day and up to 5000 mg if I feel sick. (Your body can't absorb more that 5000/day.)
Keep in mind that Barkeeper's Friend removes stains and build-up but does NOT disinfect. Be sure to clean the surface again after use.
Winter? I'm sitting in my office wearing a sleeveless top because it's supposed to be up to 95 today.
@Costermonger: I don't habitually carry change with me because it weighs down my bag and because I have a coffee bag wallet ([www.instructables.com] On the rare occasions when I pay cash for something, I put the change in a pocket and dump it into a jar when I get home.
@OMGWTFBBL: Wooden clothespins also work well as bag clips.
@Justin: Thank you so much! I just made this sitting at my desk. I tried to make the one in the post, but couldn't find a way to bend the arm. In my opinion, it is most stable when the front metal arm is up.
@Blueluck: That sounds incredibly cool. I don't think thtat I could bring myself to buy coffee and not drink it though, even for decorating purposes.
@Xerol: I have not tried PocketMoney, but I really like HomeBudget. It is user-friendly and gives instructions for getting started. HB has a "family sync" option (via wifi) that I do not use because I do not share my accounts. :)
@Hasteur: Oh my! Do you receive them electronically or do they physically print? That's a lot of paper...
Happy Friday to all!
@comodidit: It is the same with US Cellular, so I am trying to avoid multimedia or smart phones.
@RCDuke: Minor home improvements and auto maintenance followed by attending a college football game with one of my favorite people!
Happy Friday to all! I am in the market for a new cell phone and would love recommendations or warnings from your personal experience (be sure to read the requirements first).
My dad called last night...
@GreasyPig: No, sorry, I meant that my network IS password-protected so no one else is using it.
Happy Friday to all!
I sync three calendars with my iPod Touch: Life and Class (Google Calendars) and Work (Outlook). Anything pertaining to the office goes on Work, school stuff goes on Class, and everything else goes on Life. Works for me, but I also do not share either of my gCals with anyone.
