@farcedude: Linguistically speaking, people use the phrase to mean the 48 states and do not mean it literally, so both phrases are technically correct.

When I use my iPod Touch in my kitchen, it almost always loses the wifi if I use the microwave but it is fine if the microwave is off. The wireless router is in the next room about six feet from the kitchen. Does anyone else have this problem or know why it happens? Do the microwaves interfer with the wifi signal…
@bilk: Drink something warm and decaffeinated and place a warm heating pad over the outside. When I was very young, my mom gave me a warm, damp washcloth and warm apple juice.
@smithlua: I use Barkeeper's Friend on my stainless steel sink and on the formica countertops. It is a powdered cleaner that you use like Comet. I usually buy it at a local dollar store.
