Jade’s much more an executive/management type, than a game designer. I wouldn’t consider her a “dev” anywhere near the likes of the three in this game.

Honestly the prologue is quite long and is likely the weakest point in the entire game. If you DO generally enjoy JRPGs, stick with it until, like Schreier says, after you meet Olivier. It WILL be worth your time.

Up until the end of the prologue, the game wasn’t quite good. Once at chapter 1-2, I really enjoyed my time.

If you’re not at least intrigued by the time you meet Olivier, it’s probably not for you.
