I actually didn't know about the "standard pool" and now I'm even more annoyed that I don't have Diluc...

You pick Beidou because she's the best. Like the article said, her parry attack is the second most fun mechanic in Genshin (Xiao's ult takes first for that). But like the article DIDN'T say: her shield is unstoppable, and if you pair her with a hydro, the eletrocharged chain damage is unbelievable.

You really need to play the character story that unlocks after you finish the Archon quest to get the end of her story. It resolves a lot of the dangling narrative threads that this article was complaining about.

This is Blood Wake skate park erasure and I won't stand for it.

I’ve played about 15 games of Role Queued Comp. I’ve queued as Tank in all of them so far, and in every single game our DPS has picked some combination of McCree, Hanzo, Ashe, or Widowmaker. Those would be fine picks if A. you’re exceptionally good with them, and/or B. you play them in non-traditional ways, i.e.

Bangalore and Lifeline are black women. No character in Overwatch is.

I would love a Battlefield-like stat system, where you get “team points” for playing your role well, playing the objective, and then have K/Ds and whatnot. I get real tired of whiny Widowmakers and McCrees saying how hard they were working, when they got 9 picks the whole game and didn’t touch the payload once...

Nah. The best looking one is the 20th Anniversary controller. Hands down.

On console, there’s a direct correlation between higher ranks and a higher rate of keyboard and mouse adapters. Basically if you want to rank higher than low platinum, you have to cheat. It’s the main reason I stopped playing Overwatch as much as I used to, and the only reason I completely stopped playing competitive.

Square Enid is the nerdiest octogenarian.

Yeah you get temp bans basically instantly for dropping in Overwatch (I think like 7 minutes for the first one, 15 minutes for the second and a day for the third, or something), but A. that doesn’t feel harsh enough, especially when someone doesn’t do it all the time, but decides to be a dick every once in a while and

Kind of annoyed that “Left match early” isn’t an option. I’ve dealt with my handful of salty players, griefers, and throwers, but the biggest issue by far is people leaving matches. They either need to be auto-reported, add an option to report them, or just fucking fix the whole system for what happens after someone

Blizzard confirmed that basically everyone is starting “about 200SR lower” because otherwise they “don’t get why you would start another season”. The reality is, of the dozen or two people I play with, they all ranked almost exactly 200SR below where they finished last season, regardless of performance during

My friends and I just started our first ever campaign last weekend. We were inspired by The Adventure Zone though. I haven’t watched Critical Role yet.

Rip-tire would most certainly feel betrayed.

I’m assuming one of Sony’s announcements will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered standalone “AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW!!!!!”

I would agree, if any loot boxes you paid money for were guaranteed to not have any duplicates in them. People worked out the math and it’s something like 50-60% of the items in a given loot box, purchased or otherwise, are duplicates. You’re basically getting taken for half your money if you buy loot boxes right now.

I agree with Jeff, but I also agree with you. They have a right to “encourage” people to play the game the way they intended it to be played, but this seems entirely motivated by potential lost loot box sales.

Definitely more complex. But does it have a scream in it?

Were I in the games press, I would use any story about Dejobaan Games as an excuse to type out AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! — A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, which is clearly the best game title in history.
