It was really their last and only option. They knew he was unhinged, but to kill his own wife? No one could know that until it happens. For example Darkh and Malcolm were villains, but still cared about their families.

Honestly I think last season they revealed the villain too early and lost steam later on so I don't mind the slow burn as long as the payoff is worth it.

Dinah with the badass, Thea with the sass and Susan didn't last. I'm enjoying this season. Keep it up Arrow!

I am so sick of Jasper and after seeing the promo for next week it looks he's gonna be even more annoying.

It's only allowed when the kills look cool like when he shot an arrow into that guy while hanging from the helicopter and dismounted at the same time. It's no fun anymore when it's point blank in cold blood.

"Death Benefit" - really solid episode, but mostly loved a few moments such as Root and Shaw chillin in a bar in Miami sipping margaritas over knocked out goons. Also, the ending where they're all escaping through the forest while playing the song "Medicine" by Daughter. Such a beautiful scene.
