The Oz arc slowly started the descent for me. And then it began rapid decline in the Frozen Arc. By the time they got to Dark Swan I was face-desking in frustration at every single turn with seething hatred for the writers.

I love Rumple. I love Robert Carylyl. I HATE MISTER GOLD. That character has got to GO. I refuse to return to this show until his character is finally written out, be it leaving with a final choice, or killed off. Regina’s character alone is worth watching, but I’m not putting up with Gold’s flip flopping anymore.

I have...mixed feelings here. I loved the first season to death, and found it to be 95% flawless and worthy of both book and original movie. But I appreciated that for once it seemed like it could be a show that opened and shut on Reagan’s trauma, without contriving too much.

I tend to come away from Argento’s films frustrated by how damned incoherent he can be. Almost every film he does drops the ball in terms of plot, or gets distracted by an entirely new element that was never set up, and doesn’t successfully pay off.
