Ah, the good old days of Collumns, MacPaint, and Toasters After Dark.

...Considering the entire franchise, that makes no sense. She is the ANTAGONIST of the franchise. That’s her role.
That still involves removing a lot of mystery from her, and I just don’t like that. It flies in the face of what her character is for the entire franchise. It’s like those often failed slasher movie remakes where they give too much backstory, and ultimately neuter the attraction of that killer.
I meant a generalized ambiguity, as in keeping her a mystery. She’s unpredictable, and has never been caught. Thats what makes her an interesting character.
Erk, no. The best part of Carmen is her ambiguity. None of this “But the villain/ess is just misunderstood” disney crap please. Give us some teen protagonists being strung along, and dealing with some Night At the Meseum spectacle stuff. Work with the actual concepts that a decade’s worth of games and TV have set up.…
For the longest time I held onto the idea that The Never Ending Story II’s premise would have been better off given as a sequel to Labyrinth set 11 or so years after.
I have a soft spot for the main theme. Very 80s synth, but fuck, its catchy.
Even if lives are stake? The guy had patients to see in the morning. For all we know, there might have been intense surgery needed with rare, expensive qualifacations. Something certainly made this guy desperate to keep his seat.
Common Carrier laws say otherwise, actually. If anything, they’re under more intense scrutiny, since passengers are technically at their mercy in a signed contract, so governments of 1st world countries place in specific laws to protect passengers.
You certainly don’t pick the doctor that has patients to see the next morning. : /
You and 84 other people are bad.
I’d love to see the skeptics faces if it turns out the patient he was flying to see (We keep leaving out he’s a damned doctor) was I dunno, having intensive surgery the following morning maybe?
Probably has a concusion, and addled from the beating they gave him.
That’s probably reason 12, and they’re okay with this knowledge. Parenthood is not the pinacle of achievement in life
Oh dear. I’m going to sound like a hipster snob, but I really liked Flannigan before Hollywood discovered him. Not all of his work was amazing (Absentia has some flat notes and a wet fart ending) but I adore Oculus and Hush. But yeah, after Oijia: Origin of Evil, I wonder if he’s fallen into the typical trap where…
I can just imagine what kind of person she is: Someone who started life with ambitions of maybe being a writer, editor, or indeed a teacher. But she probably couldn’t cut it, and ended up being a low-income ESL teacher, and has projected all of her anger and self disapointment on the innocent students in her class,…
I said greenlit, not successfully made a good movie based on it.
Between the F&F series and the latest Max Max movie, I’m surprised a Twisted Metal movie has never been greenlit. Besides the problem of picking a centralized lead cast, it’d probably do pretty damned well.
As long as it isn’t one of those “In Name Only” kinda adaptations. You always have to lose something, since any film that attempts to be point-for-point the same is going to be fragmented as fuck (See: First two Harry Potter films). At the same time I have never quite recovered from the disapointment of the Black…
