Guilty pleasures are perfectly valid.

You’re not one of those people that follow the “More than the sum of it’s parts” school of thought, huh?
I think that’s why I liked the additions of Aisha and Adam to the cast change when they were moving towards adapting the ninja ranger show. Both of them felt a bit more edgy, or at least not as perfect as Jason/Kimberly, or the perpetual Woobie that Billy was.
You might have missed it in the last trailer, but all of these students are at Angel Grove because it has a reform school. So the implication here is each of the cast has some sort of juvenile record. We know Jason at least was involved in a bad car accident.
...Its Goldar.
Some are going on the theory Rita was originally the Green Ranger in the previous team , and apparently Lord Zed converted her, or she went rogue on her own. Her armor is way too similar to theirs to ignore, and it looks like she has a power coin in her staff.
Same. Dear god, the MEAP....Someone has to end that madness.
The majority of our downtrodden are unfortunately rural and conservative leaning. This is their revolution.
I’m sort of bewildered by the way the Archie comics have barged into my life all at once. I purchased the complete Sabrina The Teenage Witch series on a lark (It’s isolated with limited internet this far north) and have grown quite attatched to it. I didn’t even realize that it was part of this long running franchise…
What do you mean?
It was a different time back then. Vietnam brought on quite a huge crisis of faith, and Blattey wanted to scare people back into faith at a time when it seemed like the world really was just going to fly to pieces in a way we hadn’t seen before or since. He was wrong, yes, but I can’t blame him given the climate he…
Even if you’re not an audiobook lover, I strongly recommend you check out his reading of The Exorcist. Not only is he a fantastic writer, but he has the kind of smokey movie-trailer voice that sends chills up your spine. He set his own standard for what the demon sounded like, Mercades Cambridge was a lucky find that…
A psychopath lacks empathy or a sense of responsibility for their actions. Children lack empathy, and a sense of responsibility for their action. To quote the great Bill Cosby “Children are brain damaged”, and until they develop higher reasoning, they remain so. Power or not, children are fucking cruel, selfish, and…
Hook still had some redemption arcs to go through before he could be classified as “Benevolent”. In the damned 6 Degrees of Rumple, he’s almost at ground 0, and that’s something the show actually makes him have to live down, unlike the mile long littany of sins Regina commits in her life, most of which are er...just…
I’m not coming back to this show till Mr.Gold either dies, or finally gets his head out of his ass. I can deal with all the flipflops and recycled character plots just fine, but Mr.Gold is the achilles heel of this show.
Ah, the tropetastic, fetishized “I want to feel like I might not survive this” level of intensity that so much yaoi glorifies. I won’t lie, I’m heavy into the BDSM culture, and that’s had some intense experiences for me. But once I got old enough to realize how tasteless stuff like Absolute Obedience is, I’ve become…
That depends on if you think Cait Sith 1.0 was it’s own individual. You could absolutely weave an dramatic plotline about the nature of an AI: If a copy is made, but doesn’t have the same memories as the original, does that still count as part of it’s own existence? In the remake, Cait Sith 2.0 can have a subplot…
Probably because they’re not going to be the enchanted forms the entire film. There’s some heavy hints in some trailers that the curse put on Prince Adam (Oh look, he has a name now!) isn’t as cut-and-dry as the original. No doubt that means there’ll be a decent amount of time going over that scenario, which means the…
Because A list actors aren’t paid to be just voices. Ever watch The Jungle Book or Lady and the Tramp? A lot of those roles were pretty much celebrities doing cameos in animated form. True to form, The Jungle Book remake ended up doing the same thing. This is just one more example of a long littany of films where…
I’m almost certain they want Anna Kendrick for Marry Poppins soon, so I doubt they’d want to double dip her for that. Emmy Rossum...Er...does she sing? I could have sworn I remember that she didn’t sing any of her parts in Phantom. But maybe they just dubbed her because she didn’t have the soprano range for Christine?…
