Wireless or a harness-cell are the only two real options for this to be idiot proof. One is possible but expensive and still very dangerous, the other is more ideal but ridiculously expensive in addition to an already expensive entertainment set up that will be VERY niche in the beginning.

All fun and games till some idiot takes one turn too many and cracks their skull on a coffee table when they tangle their feet in the wires.

Is there a tutorial or a service where you can get LCD/Chasis so that you can make this into a handheld system? The real draw for me here is that I used to own a Xperia Play that now has a dead screen. I loved being able to play NES/SNES/GB/GBA and on rare occasions, N64 games while on the bus, getting an uber ride,

At this point, I’ve completely forsaken theaters all together. The only time I bother is if it’s a super hyped up Midnight release (Which is now ridiculous time-warp when “mighdnight=8 Pm a day before) or if I’m just rewarding myself on a dull weekday before noon.

...If this goes 3D imax, they had better pass out vomit bags along with 3D glasses. 3D on its own can be unpleasant, but throw in veritigo? Yeesh. I don’t pity the custodial shift that has to deal with this...

Here’s my stance as a public commuter: The real reason this appeals to me is time management. I live in Oakland, MI, a county where a number of low-income people are heavily reliant on the Smart Bus system.

You don’t seem to understand how game sales work...

Thanks, helicopter mom.

It’s because Hershies uses a process to stabelize the milk, which grants it a ‘sour’ taste that is kind of acquired. Most of us grew up with it, so we don’t mind it.

Nice thing about XIV is the aggro level limits are pretty reasonable in that regard. On the otherhand, dealing with a swarm of Ochus or Malboros...Yeah.

I desperately miss my Xperia Play. If they’d just make a new model with decent specs, I’m sure it’d sell. The only downside to Xperia Play phone was that for a “gaming” phone, it had almost no ram or onboard storage. Now that the prices have dropped, I’m really tempted. The controls didn’t really do much for mobile

If they can make this the norm, I’ll be the first in line to buy whatever phone/tablet/game system uses them.

Even the child is probably CGI 50% of the time. I got huge Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone vibes from the CGI doubles whenever there’s a stunt. Mogli’s actor is just to young, and you’re never going to find a stunt double that can do what’s required in this movie. The complete CGI Mogli is an eyesore.

Twiddling my thumbs waiting for gay VR, too afraid to check and feel bummed that I can’t play it if it does exist.

It’s not worth it. There is no haptic feedback that exists, nor will it ever.

No. No. Fucking. No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I do not even like what this implies...

Meh. Remakes have been fizzling out in popularity. More and more of them get announced only to remain in production hell as directors continue to fight with producers and studio mandates until they leave the project, or succumb. Just look into the miasma of cinematic misery that’s trailed behind the Hellraiser remake,

Just to go show that as a rule, anime can romanticize even the most mundane of activities, be it uno, or flipping burgers.

If they have any GBA mods, I will happily buy a GBA again. I played a ton of GBA and slightly lesser so SNES hacks on my Sony Xperia Play phone, since it had actual input buttons that made it perfect for games that were never meant to be played by touch screen.
