There’s gonna be a lot of that. They’re a new and major part of KH, probably in place of summons. Pirate Ship, Big Thunder Mountain, and Tea Cups have already been shown.

Bottom line: The way retail works, every game company has gotten just about as much money as they were ever going to get. You don’t pay Square, the retail companies do, and then they mark up their prices to make a profit . The only thing your purchasing power benefits the original developers for is encouraging…

They don’t look cleaner. They look simplified. They look like something designed for five year olds in a Baby’s First RPG.

A lot of third party companies would be ticked off if they couldn’t sell their 30-60 dollar HD remasters if people can just dig the PS2 classics out of storage.

Gotta say, I was the primary example for who you’re talking about. I just couldn’t wrap my head around the idea of playing a protagonist that was essentially a nobody; That just wasn’t why I played the FF series.

Time to finally start considering custom firm ware now.

The rational view is that the game hasn’t been in developement hell, it’s been in the feezer. No time spent on it means no money or time lost. It’s essentially really only been an active game for about 5-6 years, which is typical of an FF game.

Was there any doubts? The game was announced to be ready for beta testing or at least done with alpha phase, and we know the release date is probably spring or summer of 2016.

I have a copy of The Slasher Movie Book, which has a surprisingly large number of foriegn posters for reasons I’ve never understood, given the book is an English print. Never the less, I’m always impressed with how much more directly violent and gruesome some of those were compared to their English counterparts.

As someone with a panic disorder that has created an adjunct phobia behind the wheel, this would be a godsend. Not everyone is built for driving, and I’d wager plenty of people who fancy themselves as good drivers are probably not. I can’t tell you how many people complain about ‘other drivers’ when I’m in shotgun.…

The remake belongs at the bottom of the pile. Even the very worst Friday Film, except maybe New Blood, is at least fun to watch.

Could be that Nintendo is making a bid on the FFVII remake for the NX. Sony gets it first, but they’ve said nothing about the other three competators.
