You still have to buy controllers (Good luck with universal functionality) supports, and other things.

Spite.

Konami’s state of existence is proof enough. Look at any major franchise that started in the 90s and late 2000s that isn’t catering to the CoD demographic, and they’re all getting far less approval ratings than before. The mobile market is glutted with copycats and ptw suckers.

Yeaaah. My whole point was they had a unique product they could really capitalize: People don’t really like tablet gaming for anything remotely involved. Instead they tossed that aside for something that the market is really glutted for, and doesn’t really have that much use.

Oh god, you really are kotowing for the sake of pretending you alleged job is going just fine, and pretending there aren’t glaringly bad problems with the game market today.

That is a shitty reason to discontinue a really good handheld option for a tablet that nobody wants.

The arcade era was ‘healthy’ as well. Too healthy. We started getting copycat after copycat, and lazy ones at that. They thought they were being ‘profitable’ by just copying easy successes of arcade machines over to every console possible.

That didn’t change the fact that they’ve had a prominant history of some rather kick ass queens, and were in no hurry to replace them with kings during their reigns. Bottom line is that this story can function with a “Last Queen” tagline as much as a “Last King”.

*Looks at England*

How about stop making tablets nobody wants, and actually making the portable handhelds? The market has droids and ipads, nobody is that desperate to do high-quality gaming on a tablet. But there is an absolute lack of open-source handhelds with a decent gamepad and screen built into it. Everything on the market has

Sorry, do you even REMEMBER how the 80s went down?

Two words: Self Medicating.

Anyone else vividly reminded of the late 2000s game Aquaria?

No, they’ve made a cheap move, and are just trying to evade being caughty in a repeat of the 1980s game crash, rather than owning up to helping to contribute to this upcoming problem. They’re going to happily fade into obscurity, and help the current decline by taking some of the best franchises and snuffing them out.

Considering Konami’s track record, it’s not self entitlement.. When you alienate your most important creator, and destroy a franchise by leaving it in the hands of the music producer for the sake of nepotism, you are no longer a functional company. Konami is rapidly self destructing, and they really should just be

...It should be legal for fans to petition for a company to be liquidated when they show that they’ve abused their franchises THIS much. Sell off all their IPs to other companies with better reputations.

Henson liked dark, but in a fairytale sense, and still kid friendly. He was admimantly opposed to doing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, and basically said he’d do the effects, but would help witb none of the directing. It took a lot of fast-talking by the director to even keep him on board.

I’m really confused by that. I know money makes the world go round, but FNAF even in it’s earliest, PG-13 levels is a little anthetical to Henson’s legacy.

Poltergiest was decent. Riddled with flaws, but decent. It had some interesting commentary on the effects of modern technology on our dwindling home and social lives.

Wait, they’re actually doing this practical? It’s not just a SyFy Channel CGI garbage bin?
