I haven’t tried any support oriented characters. My main roles have been Pugalist and Rogue, which have very specific patterns, so the best thing I can say is to set up your hotbar in a way that will intuitively allow you to move through your routines. Pugalist in particular is all about combos and positioning.

The hotbar is a hell of a lot deeper than it initially lets on. Once you have multiple classes, you can set the ability to switch gear sets to a hotbar, for example. You can make it so you almost never have to search through the menus.

God help me, because I avoid using terms like this whenever possible...

That’s very glass half full, and absolutely the wrong impression of anything Australia’s government does.

Australia: Ultimate nanny state.

Its not been addressed. They intend it to remain in arcades for at least a year, and while its known that the game is based on PS4 software, there’s no complete guarantee it’ll make it to home consoles.

Guess I’ll be the first to say this

It’s just a trademark Nomura developed in X and continued to use. Nearly every other character he draws has some sort of asymmetrical accesory near the hips, be it Tidus/Jecht’s missing pantlegs, or the half skirts he’ll stick on any female character he can get away with

I find it entertaining. Far more so than the arbitrarily decided seasonal looks everyone is required to adhere to lest they be painted fashion pariahs. Modern clothing just strikes me as...boring. I miss the 80s and 90s.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that as a Bara fan, I’m happy when the big stocky guy gets the special attention rather than the pretty boy. I’d rather have a big lap to curl up in thank you.

I’d feel a bit cheated by a 2D game really. I’m already used to seeing what FF characters would be like in 2D via Mugen and other fight homebrews, many of which do have some high qulity art if you know where to dig.

Recognition of any minority comes in distinct phases.

Makes sense. When things burn, blue is hotter than yellow by two stages.

I loved and hated this game. It positively dripped with that acid-jass/hip-hop 90s sensibility that pretty much was my entire childhood, and the graphics were iconic of what I loved about cartoons at the time. On the downside, the controls sucked and the game wasn’t that forgiving in terms of difficulty. I don’t

...I just don’t get it. Then again, I’ve never understood collecting on any level. It is an alien, and somewhat terrifying phenomenon to witness as an outsider. I’m vividly reminded of beany-baby dolls in the 90s. Are we going to see history repeat itself?

I think the only anime that has ever really disturbed me was Midori, because of how stark and cold it is about the subject, where as all of these others play up the violence as macabre humor and action-pumped shock value. Midori invites you into the sort of unsettled feeling that won’t soon leave you. Compared to

If they can be influenced by violence, they can be influenced to understand its context. Parents want to say “TV/Movies/Games are more influential than me!” Are lazy, and too afraid to have the important talks with children, because they want to maintain a storybook perfect childhood that frankly nobody ever really

You’re afraid of the wrong people and the wrong things.

None of these are all that violent, because its still fiction. Fiction is what it is. The people who want to censor it rather than give it its proper place? Those are the real problem.

I really don’t understand these kind of gaming communities. How do they not implode with the levels of toxicity I keep hearing about? Eventually everyone should be hating each other so much they don’t want to even be on the same team.
