Even if she wasn't toxic, she's a stranger. She's not a gamer, she doesn't have any ties to the gaming community. Its invasive as hell to have an absolute stranger come in and tell you what and how you should be experience your private entertainment.

They're sort of going down that route in Explorers. You can transform your character into any of a number of the classic "Dissidia" crew and gain their special abilities for a brief time.

Oh don't get me wrong. I'd find it charming as well. But considering the ideas that the tech demo put into people's head, majority would rage.

What an amazingly ironic twist it would be if they remade Final Fantasy VII in high definition, but kept a similar 'chibi' asset, such as in BD or Final Fantasy Explorers? The irony would be delicious beyond measure.

I can get the exact same flavor out of a box of Pretz or a packet of pringle's knockoff Stix. Not really wowed by this.

If it can stand up to fast-fast temperature coffee, I don't think I want it floating around in my intestines. I feel like it would do very horrible things to me.
