Gas Station TV needs to die. Plus the clips that hold the handle never work so instead of checking oil or cleaning out the truck I have to hold the handle and suffer through that shit.
1990 Mazda B2200. Manual Trans, no bells or whistles.
Oh my gosh. You’re killing me. What it boils down to is that yes she needs to tell him to back off. But he doesn’t try that with the other females because they will tell him so he only goes after her because she won’t put up a fight and if I or someone else can help alleviate the situation then we will. But the dude…
I did forget to add that this guy is probably 40 and doesn’t work on the hangar floor at all. I just talked to her the other day and she said this guy would wait for her by her car before and after work. He works in the parts department and she wanted me to go with her to turn in a bad part just to avoid interacting…
I work in an aircraft maintenance hangar. 75% of us on the hangar floor are mid 30's and older, mostly dudes. Recently they hired a 22 year old female straight out of the local aviation college. A few of us noticed a guy always talking to her and we didn’t think much of it. A few weeks ago, I was really busy but…
My dad bought a B2200 new in 1990. It had a manual transmission and was fuel injected. He sold it in 2003 with over 300,000 miles. Damn thing still ran like new. I drove it in high school and have lots of “memories” in that truck.
Birds and bats can cause damage to aircraft, so I would guess a small unmanned aircraft would do some damage. But I agree it sounds dumb that small objects can cause damage to a battle ready aircraft.
I’m one if those people. I use lol at the end because I haven’t embraced JK
I use a pen in aviation. Most logbooks are paper. But I am constantly writing something. Ball point is my choice due to the less chance of smearing
It pisses me off when Pandora asks if I’m still listening. Crazy how there’s nothing like this on autonomous cars.
Came here to say the same. Even with glass cockpits, you have to monitor the flight controls.
Recently went through a similar situation. My dad died recently and my immediate family was all together for the first time in 13 years. The key is to know when to leave.
The 2-Door Tahoe or the 80's Blazer
I was 3 years into active duty stationed in Alaska. By the time I woke up, the towers were already collapsed.
My Dad always bought the bare bones model of cars. I grew up with no AC, even when I drove around Central Valley, CA. It didn’t bother me as a teen. Now I’m in my 30's, I only drive with the AC on. It didn’t work in summer 2007 while driving in the southeastern U.S. I vow to never drive without it again.
Blasting my usual 90's and Grunge. My Wife hates it but the kids enjoy it.
Growing up around the Southern CA car culture, I remember during the mid 90's, that so many Impalas were being bought up and getting sent to Japan. My uncle was offered $25k for his stock 63 Impala SS convertible by a Japanese dude.
NextGen has been slow to implement. In a nutshell, it transitions radar-based ATC to Satellite. This will help aircraft take straighter routes, saving fuel, etc. One of the reasons NextGen has been slow is due to the integration of UAS. The technology has outpaced legislation. Not sure if privatizing would help or…
When I was in kindergarten, my dad would pick me up from school on his honda nighthawk. It was early 80's Los Angeles and the trip was less than a few miles.
