I look in the manual for the size of my gas tank. For example, my truck has a capacity of 26 gal. When my low fuel light comes on, I fill up. It usually takes 23 gal. So I know that I have 3 gal when the light goes on. Do some simple beer math and figure out mpg and you’ll know your range.

I am in the transition of cord cutting and was already leaning towards PS Vue over Sling. Now that NFL Network is heading there, I might just do it. Also the number of devices that can stream simultaneously was also a factor. Last I checked, PS Vue = 5 and Sling = 2. Still buying an antenna with a 60 mile radius for

Now playing

At the 5:40 mark in this video, I have a great shot of Denali (Mt. McKinley) from the cockpit of a Chinook at 21,000 feet that was taken during my 5 years stationed in Alaska.

That’s bad ass

I’m guilty of using the bottom of my A2CU top and the soft part of my flight glove to wipe the lenses.

We use some sort of dry lens wipes for our night vision goggles. The lenses are just as sensitive. I have no idea what it’s made of.

I use half.com to find a used textbook. I also rent from Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Much cheaper than buying and you don’t have to hassle with the book once your course is completed.

I took my teenager to a Panic at the Disco concert. I didn’t know any of their songs, but have to admit that I was amazed that they played instruments (which is rare nowadays). They had horns and all. One of their songs takes a sample from Questions 67 and 68 from Chicago, but they played a great show.

My airspace comment was in regards to the first part of your orginal comment, “The charges are based on local or state laws.” Yes there are laws, but the FAA has the overall authority. The google link to the FL state law is just a piggy back of a federal regulation.

If it ain’t Boeing, I ain’t going

When it comes to airspace, FAA has authority. It doesn’t matter if it’s 5 feet or 1,000. There are no local or state laws concerning airspace. However, there are NOTAMs in place concerning restricted airspace and altitude restrictions in local areas. The FAA does depend on law enforcement and others to report

I remember making my Uncle play that record over and over while me and my cousins danced to it in the yard.

Yesterday, I witnessed a rollover on I-10 in FL. The vehicle was traveling eastbound and I was heading west. He blew a tire and flipped numerous times through the median . I had to swerve to dodge debris. I saw the driver get ejected and literally had to dodge him. Fuck that. It happened in slo-mo.

Blah Blah.....poop deck joke

I still would’ve got out. Luckily the powers that be were in the process of hiring a civilian equivalent for a Flight Engineer and I was the first one hired upon getting out. I work in the same place and with active duty guys I have served with in the past. So in my case, my skills and experience are still being used

Thank you. I did 12 years active duty and decided that was enough. No chances of deploying again.

My Wife stopped watching the news before I deployed to Iraq. It gave her anxiety because of me leaving and all the news reports coming out of there. I don’t watch it much anymore either. Too many opinions, not enough news.

We call these “crutch words.” Mine is “you know what I mean” when I’m giving a presentation. If you ever watch a Peyton Manning interview, he says “um” snd “uh” a lot. Not sure if it’s part of his “Ah Shucks” persona.

Also think about how that piece of equipment will look with clothes hangers hanging from it a month after purchasing.
