I honestly thought he was joking about John Stockton and ‘will to win’. Their respective games being so dissimilar other than skin color and the meme level buzzword quality. Gritty, hard nosed, has intangibles, intelligent , hard worker, gym rat, leader, etc.

Isn’t it more likely that this is simply the starting gambit in an attempt to build a company that creates boring/tunneling machinery for Mars or the Moon? Going underground on other worlds conceivably solves some problems (radiation/structural/weather).

Monk has a nasty step back. Not a Harden level step back but still pretty effective. Combine that with an ability to drive well and finish strong and you have a closer comparison.

It also does away with the drunken ‘whoohoo’ within the silence from the person that demands attention or the increasingly loud conversation of someone telling someone else to be quiet. Applause just seems to work because not everyone has to join in or even know how to clap.
