Sounds like an under-achieving misfire based on the reviews I've read to date. I miss the old days when bands would improve with each album. I feel that every band I've gotten into over the past ten years has deteriorated with each successive release. It's more than a little depressing.

I hadn't seen the opening scene of Casino Royale for several years. Man, that's a good action scene. The physicality of the two of them is incredible. I love the way in which Bond, recognizing that fit as he is, he can't compete with the other guy's agility, just utilizes his environment to best effect.

These retrospective pieces really are excellent in terms of writing. Consistently amongst the very best on the site.

I splurged on the chefs tasting menu with wine pairings at Alain Ducasse's flagship restaurant at Plaza Athenee in Paris once. You know you're probably out of your league when the table next to you is comprised of various members of the Saudi Royal family, three of whom arrived in their Bugattis. Anyway, the meal

I've never understood the loading up on carbs before running thing. I've been running daily for the past 20 years, but I prefer to run on a completely empty stomach (I've been known to suffer from Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis on the occasions where I have run a few hours after eating, which certainly puts you off

The Office marks the point at which I gave up watching network comedies altogether. I genuinely loved the first few seasons seasons, but just stopped watching after season 3. There was nothing wrong with it, but I just got overwhelmed by cable television, and never went back.

Not to sound mean, but my 8 year-old daughter's spelling was better than that when she was in pre-school. If nothing else, this so-called letter should be drawing more attention to the education system.

If these are the worst movies they've ever seen in a movie theater, then these critics need to start getting out and taking their careers more seriously. None of these are close to the worst. I say that as a man who saw "Nothing But Trouble" and "The Beverly Hillbillies" in the movie theater, so I consider my

My daughters like Barbie: Life in the Dream House. I can't believe I'm writing these words, but I occasionally find it entertaining too. It's surprisingly game of making fun of itself and its characters.

I thought it was Marc Almond. I guess that the anecdote reveals more about one's age than the subject himself.

It's got to be hard for him to understand why "Six Days Seven Nights" doesn't elicit the same level of fan interest.

He was definitely a case of premature aging, if that's the case. A veritable Benjamin Button of our time.

I really liked Jonathan Tucker in Justified. He was a great final nemesis for Raylan, even if their final stand-off with the white and black hats was a little on the nose.

I thought that Affleck made a fine Batman. Whatever problems BVS had, he was far from the top of the list.

That does seem lower than expected if it is for the whole series. That said, filming a season of Doctor Who, especially with the short seasons that the U.K. shows tend to have, means that she won't be spending the whole year doing just that.

Rather like the "Minions in China" post of a week ago, this is one of those articles that acts like a Rorschach Test for the comment proletariat.

May 25th next year seems awfully close for a movie of this size that has only just started shooting.

Do many people love Hook? I don't think I've ever read so much as anything above middling enthusiasm.

I didn't think it was disliked either. A footnote movie, perhaps, but not a reviled one.

But you did at least get the gradual build of the load screen to accompany the screeching.
