Hey, apologies if this is a repeat. I wanted to let you know about a community lots of us  have been hanging out at.  There was a former Jez sub blog that kinja killed off a while back. We reconstituted the community on another platform. It’s a pretty cool place.

Oh I will need to make you some stuffing sometime. I bake the bread with the seasonings & veg right in the dough and go from there.  It is to die for- no hill required!  

I appreciate the suggestions. I get the “you just need to cook them correctly” thing a lot when I decry mashed potatoes.

Buy both the good stuff and the cheap stuff. Use the cheap stuff in the dark loads where stains don’t matter anyway and use the good stuff on the lighter clothes.

Generic dish soap is trash. I won’t buy store brand coffee either.

A couple of drops of peppremint oil pre-use works perfectly well for toilet odors. It’s also cheaper and more natural smelling than poo-pourri. A 5 ounce bottle is around 12 bucks and it will last for years.

Here’s the evil thing about Airbnb. It is making finding affordable housing even harder and sometimes impossible. I live in a small community that folks like to visit in the summer. There are no moderately priced rentals or homes for sale anymore. They are all Airbnbs now.
