Great idea. Frozen gnocchi is one of the “exotic” foods I can get in these parts so I’ll definitely be giving this a try. Usually I dress my pasta salads when they’re warm thinking that the dressing will absorb better.  Do you think that would affect the gnocchi adversely?  I could see it maybe making them too soggy

Or both.

OMG the fitting rooms. I did a part time retail gig after retiring and I cannot believe what people do in the fitting rooms- dirty diapers, merchandise on the floor, gum, drink cups. It’s disgusting.

Wouldn’t you just communicate with them like you did when they were teenagers minus the curfew & grief about getting homework done? Like “hey, here’s a funny gif” or whatever?

My teen job was at a movie theater and this was the required way to do it.

Is that not what spin offs are though? They expand the secondary character’s story and world. If someone’s interested in the ensemble’s dynamics or other characters under the production company’s umbrella, they have the original & the other shows to watch.

The show is called Velma, not Scooby Doo. It’s a spin-off.

I had to re-read the article thinking I missed the part where Mindy Kaling was identified as East Asian.  I am still confused and not seeing it.

Lazy skincare FTW.

Gotta rep that sub group whenever I can!  People don’t realize how many people with  cancer there are out there. The numbers are staggering.

Hi Sara- FYI your comments are in the greys which is kinda dumb of kinja being that you’re the author. I’m ungreying what I can but someone over there should fix that for you.

Fudgicles just rolls off the tongue more easily.

Yup, this.

I think you’re supposed to throw in a Soros or Gates reference...

I’m a US transplant in Atlantic Canada. I always thought porridge was something only in nursery rhymes & fairy tales. Turns out it’s oatmeal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, screw those 5 million people.  We’re tired of putting on a mask.

Thanks for taking my comment in the spirit that it was intended. You did not sound harsh FWIW- maybe tired & frustrated like most of us.

I get that. And I would never expect healthy, vaccinated people to keep isolating and givingup so much.

Noted.  Thanks.

It’s thought that people with blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma) aren’t responding well to the vaccine either. At least that’s what the preliminary information is point to. There’s over a million of them in the US so it’s not an insignificant portion of the population.
