This is a surprisingly well equipped car for what it did: Scissor doors have heavy latches and wide, step-up sills, which decrease the likelihood of water getting in the cabin. Mid-engine sits relatively high and is well enclosed (not that that matters a whole lot), and the intake is actually higher up than it would

I’d love to be able to look deeper into the business deals associated with these cross-manufacturer models. What does it cost? Who does what? How is confidentiality handled? What sorts of promises are made? For example, does the FRS/BRZ deal explicitly say that Subie isn’t allowed to sell an STi model?

Why'd you put that Acura as the cover photo?

Whoa. I did NOT expect it to look like that.

For some cars, I agree, and therefore volunteer as tribute to stand in the flame suit.

Where do you live that you use the apostrophe instead of the comma or period in a number? I’ve never seen that before.

The S Coupe is absolutely gorgeous, but for $163,000 (Base), it’s a non-starter. That’s an insane price. I guess it’s nice to be short in competition. There isn’t really a car like it on the market, besides maybe the Conti GT, which is more in line with the AMG.

Genuinely wondering if you’re just trolling. You just called China a Free Market.....................................

1 - that person chose to go out and get drunk. They’re not a person in need the way someone who needs medication or shelter is.

The only people who are capable of price gouging are those who are capable of taking advantage of those in need - providers of medication, food, etc.

He explains in the YouTube video and on Reddit that he hit the brakes and believed it was going to fall in front of him. He also says there was a car to his right, close enough to render it unsafe to swerve.

My first car, also. Super solid. Don't miss it.

I love the Evoque. Could see myself picking one up for the girlfriend in a few years, in fact. That said, it’s kind of douchey. Certainly at least as douchey as a Q5.

“I’d just sell the thing”. Sooooo, a gift of at least a $million.

#6 may only be the sixth most scathing review, but it’s definitely among the five best reviews I’ve ever read. 13 years later, it’s still a great read and could still be applied to similar vehicles. So many one-liners, also. I think it’s John Philips’ best piece, among an unbelievable collection of work.

If you get a new Subaru, you have nothing to worry about. Check out the filter placement on the new WRX/BRZ motor. Beautiful:

As a fellow Mini owner, I can assure OP that the dealership is not a good place to get extra faith.

A kit? From the dealer? You should still be able to get what you need from an auto parts store for a third of what Mini is going to try and pillage you for. What all do you need, besides the oil, the o-ring, and the filter?

If they did put the fries in the fry container, they’d all fall out of the hole that was mysteriously cut in the bottom of it.
