I know I've brought this car waay too much lately, but will do again for two reasons:

I almost bought an Actyon Sports after my '07 SsangYong Korando TD died on me. SsangYong makes cheap yet enduring trucks. No wonder the Actyon Sports is seen everywhere here in Chile!

Plenty sold here in Chile. There's one parked near me every day, have to see it every morning *cringe*

Chile... Probably seen that way since only the top trims get here (Charger R/T and up, Challenger R/T and up, Dart SXT Rallye only, etc.)
Every time I see a Mazda 6 I wish she got that instead. Oh well, my Turbo Juke parked next to it makes the garage look better lol

I mean, even the Volkswagen Passat is beating the 6. Really?

Indeed! Unfortunately, the left one cracked when it got hit at a parking lot by a distracted driver. The front portion is the indicator, and the part at the side is the parking light if I recall correctly.

Arica, the lost city of Japan!

Really good article! Reminds me of the Chilean car world. Honda alternates from bringing Euro models and USDM models. Nissan does the same. We get USDM and Euro models from almost every carmaker. Also, many grey imported JDM cars with LHD conversion, meaning a couple of dozen Skylines, Silvias and what not.

I owned a shortened version of that SsangYong Musso, a SsangYong Korando TD. Mercedes diesel straight-five and a 5speed manual. I miss that car every day!

No K-cars were officially sold here in Chile, so when I saw a convertible LeBaron parked outside a friend's place, I could barely sleep thinking why someone would go through all the trouble (and slight illegality) of importing one

My exact reasoning for my Nissan Juke (and modifying it!)

Coke leaf tea should also help eith height issues

If you get to Santiago, there must be some international Jalop drinking. I plan on following the Dakar after this one.

The roads to the south of Chile are one of the best I've ever driven on... Amazing quality, up until around Coyhaique, and after Punta Arenas (which is pretty much the end). I'm saving up to do "La Ruta Del Fin Del Mundo" from Santiago to Punta Arenas (around 4000km each way, passing through the Andes and through

What tasteless joke are you talking about?

Why does it have Citroën Berlingo covers? Just let those steelies shine! Or get the OG funky french wheels the BX actually came in.

It is a cheapefied version of the Kadett

Also called Daewoo Heaven and Cielo with the facelifts.

That's because nobody remembers this thing anymore, the late '90s to early '00s Suzuki Esteem wagon. It was a completely forgettable small car, but you still see them every so often on the road serving as family transportation.
