I'm sorry you are going through this. I just wanted to send a big e-hug your way. The way you're feeling is completely normal; I can't imagine anyone who's mojo wouldn't take a major hit in a situation like this.

If I wear makeup to bed my skin feels disgusting the next day. If I leave mascara on, my eyelashes clump together and it's a pain in the morning. Overall I find it healthier and just plain refreshing to remove it at night and go through my skincare routine.

As I mentioned in another thread, if this is the case, all an owner has to do is get creative. Build an enclosed cat area outside. Etc etc. There are honestly a lot of options to find a happy medium. One cat's happiness should not come at the expense of the surrounding environment. If you want a cat that badly, and

Catch, neuter, and release programs sound good in theory, but when you release, there are still massive amounts of cats killing an even more massive number of various species.

THIS. It is plain selfish to basically say you don't give a shit about the environment as long as your CAT is "happy". Your cat's life is not going to be significantly affected by staying inside; just take the time to make sure it's got some kind of stimulation and all is well!

Our neighboring island has a biologist whose sole job is to go out and shoot every single stray cat that he finds. They are singlehandedly destroying the bird population on the island, including some very rare endangered birds, as well as certain insects.

I guarantee you have many species — birds as well as other creatures that are very important to the ecosystem — that your cats are affecting. Mr. Chilaquile is a wildlife biologist; when we still lived in the mainland US, I can't even tell you how much damage he had to deal with everywhere, suburban and rural areas

That's super cute. Too bad "nude" is pretty much only for white people. I love so many of the "nude" looks — from shoes to illusion dresses like this — but sadly, the "nude" area is many many shades lighter than my skin.

Oh damn. Cara Delevigne, hands down my favorite dress.

Haha I had to very quickly hide my head behind my computer screen and chortle silently to myself at that one.

I understand this all too well. I'm of East Indian descent, with pretty dark skin. Over the years, it has not only been difficult to find makeup in the right shade, but it seems every time I do, the damn shade gets DISCONTINUED. This has happened to me at LEAST 7-8 times and it is incredibly frustrating. Smashbox,

Sigh, balls. I got super excited and registered without realizing they pick the shade out for you. That color is WAY too light for me...and they don't have any dark options at all. Guess I should have known since it is marketed towards Asian women; but now I'm bummed!

You guys can come to me! It looks like this all year round.

No problemo. If you are actually interested and have any other questions, feel free to ask; it sounds like some of what we do is similar :)

Oh yeah and other perks of working at a hotel that I never really knew about before:

Everyone I know who does this is in a standard 40-hour workweek, little bit more if you're in a management position.

Have you ever considered working in the HR or Events departments of a hotel? What you're describing sounds like that would be a great fit for you — focusing on trainings, or even Employee Relations (that would be the fun stuff like programs for the employees, charity work that you pick your hotel to participate in,

Tonight's dinner is going to be super simple since we have not done our grocery shopping for the week.

Holy crap! Thanks so much, that was such an awesome detailed post! I am definitely going to try this out. It sounds like it'll make my life a lot easier.

Yes! Thank you! I feel like this is what's going to end up happening for me. I have a similar build; I have only crept up past 115lbs after my boobs got this large. I have looked it up and apparently they can weigh a good 8lbs each? Insane but it makes total sense when I see how the rest of my body hasn't changed that
