Bleh. That sucks dude. I'm usually just grateful when my dog is being ignored, cuz then I don't have to worry about how my dog is going to react/whether or not the person is going to do something stupid.

Folks can be so dang pushy with pets! And puppies...it's like people think all puppies are wearing a big "pet me now!" sign. It's really good for puppies to be socialized with tons of folks, but definitely not until all vaccinations are complete :)
I certainly think that taking on that kind of hybrid name is taking a bit of a step away from the traditional family heritage — you're essentially putting yourself as a tangent to your family, and have a name that no one from either side of the family will ever have if/until you have kids.
:) I'm not referring to hyphenated names. The names I'm talking about actually take parts of the name and create a whole new name with them. For example: Patterson & MacKay —> MacPat (yes, that sounds awful, but you get my drift).
I really hope this actually takes off properly and that people pay attention to that yellow ribbon..because a lot of people have such stupid ill-founded self-confidence when it comes to pets, it is astounding. And makes me want to punch them.
I know a couple who is doing this and it's pretty awesome! They combined their last names into one awesome new last name. They are also interracial so their new last name is a great mix of their respective ethnic names.
Perhaps you should read the last paragraph of the article one more time...
Best collection of the season by far! This is just fabulous.
Fear of heights is learned in humans; I bet there were a whole lot of people who had zero fear later on in life and were okay with doing all kinds of crazy nonsense.
Actually I really liked that little portion of your comment, it made me laugh when I am having an otherwise terrible morning! So thank you.
I mentioned this in response to the other comment...I have been on birth control for 7 years. OBGYN said that's probably the reason symptoms didn't present earlier. And I have been cycling through the pills for about 6 years, meaning I only get my period a couple times a year. I'm pretty wary of Lupron/heavier…
I have been cycling through my birth control for about 5 years now, and I'm really glad that I made that decision, all things considered! I get my period about 2-3 times a year.
:( I've been on bc pills for 6 or 7 years. The OBGYN said that's the likely reason that the symptoms didn't hit when I was younger.
I have been having really really bad pelvic pain on and off for about two years now. I have been checked at the doctor several times and they could never figure out what was wrong; they kept misdiagnosing me and nothing helped. Finally, two weeks ago I went to someone who was on top of their shit and he diagnosed me…
